Timbury Computer Services offers a range of consulting services for small to large projects involving Linux and Open Source software. Capabilities include training, strategic planning, project management, and software development.

After a careful review of each client's requirements, a project proposal will be prepared and submitted to the client for approval. Upon acceptance, the Timbury team will go to work to implement the project.
Examples of possible projects include:
- Convert web site from ASP/MS-SQL to PHP/MySQL.
- Plan and deploy enterprise wide directory services based on OpenLDAP.
- Develop and manage pilot project to determine feasibility of migration to Samba and OpenOffice.
- Port an open-source application to a previously unsupported platform or architecture.
- Customize an open-source application to meet specific business requirements of the client.
Linux training is available to individuals and groups onsite or in public facilities. You can have yourself and/or your workforce up to speed on Linux and Open Source software very quickly. Training can be customised to meet the goals of the class. Past classes have included high school and college students, engineers, vo-tech students, sales people, managers and executives.

Courses are available in various distributions, including CentOS, Fedora, Ubuntu, Debian, Red Hat, Slackware, etc. All required software is provided with the course. Students are normally required to provide their own hardware, but other arrangements can be made.
